Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1-American Society of Anesthesiologists Status I-II 2-Children of either gender aged between 6 months 12 years scheduled for elective palatoplasty

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1-Refusal for inclusion in the study 2- Upper respiratory tract infection 3- Bleeding diathesis 4- Allergy to local anaesthetic used in the study
