Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individual of either sex of age of 60 years to 80 years. Individual having at least 50% Symptoms of Nidranasha Angamarda, Jrumbha, Shirogaurav, Klama, Glani, Tandra, Akshigaurav. Individuals who are diagnosed with insomnia on the basis of DSM5 criteria. Participants willing to give written Informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals diagnosed with severe psychological disorder (schizophrenia, dementia) etc. Individuals using ayurvedic or modern prescribed sleep medications for past 30 days. of alcohol dependence. Individuals who are immunocompromised or having uncontrolled DM and HTN are excluded Individuals diagnosed with Nidranasha who exhibit moderate to severe level of depression and anxiety are excluded from the study.
