Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Patients reporting to OMFS OPD for extraction of permanent mandibular teeth. 2 Patients of 18-60 years of age of either gender.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Patients who are allergic to local anaesthetics 2 Patients who are non-compliant with post operative instructions . 3 Patient not willing to give informed consent.

Faster onset of anesthesiaTimepoint: Onset is measured after injecting anesthesia to first subjective numbness and objective signs of anesthesia within same visit on the same day

Prolonged duration of anesthesia & reduced pain during extraction procedureTimepoint: Duration of anesthesia is measured from onset of anesthesia to return of normal sensation assessed in minutes within same clinical visit on the same day & pain is measured using VAS score during extraction procedure within same clinical visit on the same day
