Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adults aged 18 to 65 years with metabolic dysfunction associated steatotic liver disease diagnosed by contemporary criteria.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals with competing or concomitant chronic liver diseases, alcohol use disorder, decompensated cirrhosis attributable to causes other than metabolic dysfunction associated steatotic liver disease, major uncontrolled endocrine or metabolic conditions liable to confound outcomes, and those receiving medications known to meaningfully alter hepatic lipid or glucose metabolism.
