Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Radiological confirmed single level lumbar prolapsed intervertebral disc. Symptoms of low back pain with radicular pain. Failure of at least 4 to 6 weeks of conservative treatment

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient not giving consent. Multi level disc herniations. Prior lumbar surgery. Coagulopathy or local infection at injection site. Red flag signs like cauda equine syndrome, progressive neurological deficit, history of cancer, immunocompromised state, recent significant trauma in spine, persistent night pain or rest pain.
