Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -Adult patients of either gender, aged 18 60 years. -Diagnosed cases of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus as per standard diagnostic criteria. -HbA1c > 7.0% at the time of screening. -Patients on stable antidiabetic therapy (oral hypoglycemic agents with or without insulin) for at least 3 months prior to enrollment. -Willingness to maintain current diet and lifestyle practices during the study period. -Ability to understand the study procedures and provide written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: -Patients with known chronic kidney disease (eGFR -History of cardiovascular diseases, including ischemic heart disease, stroke, or heart failure. -Known allergy or intolerance to vinegar or apple-derived products, as reported by the patient or relatives.

MeasureTime frame
To determine the effect of ACV on HbA1c in T2DMTimepoint: Outcome measures will be evaluated at baseline (0 month), at 3 months, and at 6 months of intervention.

Blood sugar fasting (BSF): Before the start of intervention and after intervention 5 ml venous blood sample will be taken with 12 hours fasting for biochemical analysis of blood sugar fasting Fasting lipid profile: Before the start of intervention and after intervention 5 ml venous blood sample was taken with 12 hours fasting for biochemical analysis of fasting lipid profile Anthropometric measurements: Height, weight, Hip/waist ratio and mid upper Timepoint: 0,3 and 6 months
