Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Subjects fulfilling diagnostic criteria for insomnia. 2. Subjects aged between age 18 to 60 years. 3. Subjects fit for Nasya Procedure. 4. Subjects not having allergy from oil. 5. Subjects of Insomnia with controlled hypertension, mild depression and anxiety disorders without any complaint of other major diseases.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Subjects having allergy with oil application. 2. Subjects having severe psychiatric disorder like schizophrenia, bipolar disorders etc. 3. Pregnant woman. 4. Subjects with other complication of disease or systemic involvements. 5. Subjects with Fatal Familial Insomnia. 6. Subjects who are unfit for shodhan and shaman chikitsa. 7. Subjects who are unwilling.

Significant improvement in clinical symptoms of Anidra: 1. Nidra Alpta (loss of sleep) 2. Angamarda(Body ache) 3. Jrumba (Yawning) 4. Tandra (Drowsiness) 5. Shirashoola (Headache) 6. Akshigaurava (Heaviness in eyes) 7. Difficulty in falling asleep or maintaining sleep or poor quality of sleep. 8.Unsatisfactory quality and/or quantity of sleep.Timepoint: Assessment of patient will be done on day 0, 7th, 21st and 30th day.
