Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients who are recently diagnosed and known case of Hypothyroidism on active medication. 2.Patients having signs and symptoms of hypothyroidism. 3.Age between 19 to 60 years irrespective of any gender,caste,religion and socioeconomic status. 4.Serum T3 Below or normal Range i.e. (75 to 175 ng per dL or below) T4 levels normal or below i.e. ( 4 to 11 micro gm per dL or below ), and serum TSH levels above the normal range i.e. ( more than 5.5 micro gm per dL). 5. Patients who are fit for Nasya Karma. 6. Patients who are willing to participate in the study and able to provide written consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients below 19 years and above 60 years of age. 2. Patients having known case of Hyperthyroidism. 3. Pregnant or Lactating Women. 4. If patient undergone any Thyroid surgery. 5. Patients having any systemic disease like, Kochs disease , COPD and Carcinoma , HIV. 6. Patients having Myxedema coma (complication of longstanding untreated hypothyroidism. 7. History of hypersensitivity or allergy to any Ingredient in kanchan gutika Guggulu or Katutumbi Tailam. 8. Patients having acute infections or nasal pathology that are contraindicates Nasya karma.

Ruja ( Pain at the site of swelling) 4. Daurbalya or Aalasya (Lethargy and weakness) 5. Khalitya (Hair loss and Alopecia) 6. Shramashwasa (Dyspnea on exertion) 7. Asraddha and Aruchi (loss of appetite) 8. Tvaka Rukshta (Dry or Coarse skin ) 9. Sarvang Graha (Muscle stiffness) 10. Gadgadvakta (Hoarseness of voice) 11. Bharvrudhi (Weight gain) 12.
