Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants with painful menstruation coming to OPD Prasutitantra and Striroga of age group 18 to 30 years with regular cycles of interval 28 to 32 days with WaLIDD Score more than or equal to 5

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pelvic pathology (dysmenorrhea due to the presence of fibroid, endometriosis, ovarian cyst, pelvic inflammatory disease, and other pathologies) Abnormal uterine bleeding Structural deformity of reproductive system Uncontrolled systemic illness Gastritis, Peptic ulcer disease

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Pain change in the mean score value will be assessed by WaLIDD ScoreTimepoint: 3rd day of menstruation for 3 consecutive menstrual cycles

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Change in associated symptoms-nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, headache and giddiness will be assessed as per Verbal Descriptive ScaleTimepoint: 3rd day of menstruation for 3 consecutive menstrual cycles
