Intervention1: Periodontal therapy: One group of participants will be given non-surgical periodontal therapy which would include- Supragingival and subgingival scaling and root planing, crown polishin

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1- Systemically Healthy females of reproductive age (15 45 years) 2- Females diagnosed with PCOS 3- Females diagnosed with Periodontitis 4- At least 16 teeth present in oral cavity

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1- Patients with a history of Periodontal therapy for the last 6 months. 2- Chronic or acute infections during the previous 6 months. 3- Pregnant or lactating females 4- Systemic antibiotic treatment in the past 6 months. 5- Any other systemic disease that could influence the outcome of the periodontal therapy. 6- Regular use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or hormone replacement therapy.
