Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients aged 18 years or older, belonging to either sex, American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status I to III, undergoing elective surgeries and requiring arterial cannulation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients having infection at the access site, patients with coagulopathy or on anticoagulation therapy, patients with pedal edema, and patients with peripheral vascular disease.
