Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age range: Adults aged 18 45 years BMI criteria: Participants classified as overweight or obese (BMI greater then 25 kg/m)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Current or recent participation in weight loss or structured physical activity programs Hypothyroidism Pregnancy or lactation (if female participants included). Any past surgery of stomach or back in recent past (3 months )

Primary Outcomes: 1. Body Mass Index (BMI): Measured using bioelectrical impedance analysis, using Omron Karada Scan Body Composition Monitor (HBF-375)(Upadhyah et al., 2019). 2. Body Fat Percentage: Assessed through bioelectrical impedance (Omron Karada Scan Body Composition Monitor HBF-375) analysis (BIA) (Irawan & Anggarani, 2019). Timepoint: baseline and 24 weeks

Secondary Outcomes: 3. Metabolic Rate: Measured using bioelectrical impedance analysis, using Omron Karada Scan Body Composition Monitor (HBF-375). Skinfold caliper and non-elastic anthropometric tape for the measurement of (Bicep), waist hip ration and waist-height ratio respectively(Seo et al., 2012) 4. Quality of Life: Evaluated using the SF-36 Health Survey. Repeat assessments at pre intervention and post intervention to track changes over time (Cramer et al., 2016) Timepoint: 6 months
