Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: For Anxiety Disorder Group: Current DSM-5 diagnosis of anxiety disorders (GAD, SAD, PD with or without Agoraphobia, or Phobic Anxiety Disorders); Minimum 7th standard education; Fluent in English, Hindi, Malayalam, or Kannada; Right-handed as per the Edinburgh Handedness Inventory; Normal or corrected vision and/or hearing For Non Clinical Controls:Minimum 7th standard education;Fluent in English, Hindi, Malayalam, or Kannada;Right-handed as per the Edinburgh Handedness Inventory; Normal or corrected vision and/or hearing

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: For Anxiety Disorder Group: Presence of comorbid Somatoform or Dissociative Disorder, OCD, and/or Adjustment or Acute stress reaction, Severe Depression, Bipolar Disorder, or Schizophrenia; Presence of neurological conditions such as epilepsy, cerebrovascular disease, and other neurodegenerative disorders, as per clinical interview and file diagnosis; Evidence of intellectual disability; History of drug and alcohol dependence, excluding Nicotine; Sensorimotor impairments that can interfere with test performance For Non Clinical Controls: Presence of any current psychiatric diagnosis evaluated using the DIAMOND screener; Presence of neurological conditions such as Epilepsy, cerebrovascular disease, and other neurodegenerative disorders, as per clinical interview; Evidence of intellectual disability Sensorimotor impairments that interfere with assessments/test performance
