Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) type I, A normal healthy patient. Patient with impacted mandibular third molars requiring surgical extraction under local anaesthesia. Patients with Pederson s difficulty index score 5-6 (moderately difficult)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Impacted third molar with associated pathology and acute infection. Patient who has a known allergy to a local anaesthetic or requiring repeated injections of local anaesthetics. Medically compromised patients. Tobacco chewers and smokers Pregnancy and lactating females or patients on oral contraceptives.
