Intervention1: Variation of shankaprakshalana: Participants will consume warm water (lightly salted, as used in Shankhaprakshalana). One glass of water will be consumed followed by practice of Tadasan

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients BMI greater than or equal to 30 kg per meter square to lesser than 40 kg per meter square 2.Patients who are willing to participate in the study. 3.No regular physical exercise and yoga.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Person suffering from high blood pressure and cardiac issues. 2. Persons who are taking any special diet, medicine or supplement for weight reduction. 3. Women during pregnancy, lactation and menstruation. 4. Individuals who have undergone recent abdominal surgery. 5. Individuals with spinal deformity, sciatic, hernia, organ prolapse and slipped disc. 6. Individuals who smoke and drink alcohol.
