This study compares two surgical methods for partial hip replacement after a thigh bone neck fracture. It examines which approach front which is direct anterior or back which is direct posterior helps patients recover better and walk earlier and regain comfortable hip movement.

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: X-ray proven displaced femoral neck Garden`s type 3 & 4. Fracture (AO type 31 b1-b3.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Eligible for total hip arthroplasty. Incapable of rehabilitation due to severe cognitive impairment Or due to pre-existing physical restrictions. Concomitant traumatic comorbidities restricting long-term rehabilitation. Obese patients.
