Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The participants are aged 45 to 70 years The participants having 3 or more than 3 signs and symptoms of BPH as given in the diagnostic criteria Grade I and II BPH as per USG

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants with malignancy or congenital deformities of the urogenital tract Systemic diseases like chronic renal failure Uncontrolled Hypertension and Uncontrolled DM Participants having Hematuria Bladder infection kidney stone bladder stones urethral stricture and phimosis Participants with known case of other serious systemic illnesses will be excluded Known case of cardiac diseases

Post voided residual urine volume Size of the prostate by USG IPSS scoring Timepoint: Uttara Vasti with Varanadi Gana Taila 20 ml will be administered for 9 consecutive days followed by a rest period of 3 days A second course of Uttara Vasti with the same drug and dose will then be given for another 9 days Data will be collected on the 0th 28th and 54th days with final follow up on the 54th day
