Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who present with sign and symptoms of Medo Dosha with special reference to Dyslipidaemia as described in classical text. Inclusion Criteria on the basis of serum lipid profile as follow. Serum Cholesterol 200-300 mg/dl Serum T.G. 150-350 mg/dl LDL 100-200 mg/dl VLDL 30-100 mg/dl

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient not willing for the trial. Type II Diabetes Mellitus (FBS > 125) as per American Diabetes Association. Hypertension ( >140/90 mmHg) as per JNC-7 (Joint National Committee ). Renal disease. Blood Urea > 20 mg/dl Serum Creatinine > 1.2 mg/dl Hepatic disease. Total Serum Bilirubin > 1.5 mg/dl SGOT > 48 U/L SGPT > 50 U/L History of cardiovascular diseases (Myocardial Infarction, Stroke, etc.). Pregnant females and lactating mother. Any condition which the investigator thinks may compromise with the safety of the subject.
