Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. primigravida women of gestational age of 25 weeks and more who visit the obstetric and gynaecology department of Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences. 2. primigravida women who can understand English, Hindi, Bengali.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. women diagnosed with psychiatric disorder 2. current use of psychotropic medicine 3. hearing impairment or auditory disorder 4. women already practicing regular meditation, chanting or music therapy 5. history of major stressful event like death of near and dear ones or severe marital conflict in last three to six months 6. high risk pregnancy with severe medical or obstetric complication 7. women unwilling or unable to provide consent.
