Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients having symptoms of acne vulgaris (Yuvan pidika) like multiple papular eruptions on face associated with pain, inflammation, discharge and discoloration, Patients of either sex and between 16-30 years of age, Patients having associated symptoms like blackheads, whiteheads, papules, pustules, redness around skin eruptions, Patients willing to participate and ready to give written informed consent prior to the trial.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient with History of hypersensitivity, Patient having eczema, psoriasis, or any other major skin disorders, Patients on medications like antitubercular drugs, corticosteroids, etc, Pregnant and lactating women.

Decreased grade of severity of Yuvan pidika.Timepoint: 45 days

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Improvement in the side effects of acne like blackish spots. The study will provide cost effective, easily available, safe treatment option with lesser side effects.Timepoint: 45 days
