Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA grade I-II, scheduled for surgery under general anaesthesia with controlled ventilation and with an expected duration of at least 50 min.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Known neuromuscular Disorders 2. Known allergy 3. Taking medication known to alter the effect of neuromuscular blocking agents.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Time taken to reach TOF ratio of 0.9 from a TOF ratio of 0.4 after giving sugammadex will be noted and patient extubated once following verbal commands.Timepoint: 18 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
any signs of reoccurrence of muscle weakness or other adverse eventsTimepoint: every 15 minutes after extubation till 1 hour;patients reaching TOF count more than 0.9Timepoint: 5 minutes
