Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients having minimum 50% symptoms of Sthaulya according to assessment scale and fulfilling diagnostic criteria of this study.Patients of Sthaulya having range of BMI 23 Kg/m2 upto 29.9 Kg/m2.Patients of either gender of aged between 18 - 60 years irrespective of caste, religion, socioeconomic & educational status. Patient of Sthaulya having controlled hypertension.Those patients of Sthaulya who are willing to participate in trial and ready to give written informed consent will be included. Patient who had not participated in any research work since last 6 months will be included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients of Sthaulya having BMI less than 23Kg/m2 and more than 29.9Kg/m2 will be excluded. Patients having age below 18yrs and above 60yrs will be excluded.Patients with complications and chronic disorders like Nephrotic Syndrome, Jaundice, Hypothyroidism, Chronic infections and other serious diseases will be excluded. Patients having Diabetes Mellitus and uncontrolled Hypertension.(BP= 160/100 mm Hg) Patients who are currently participating in other clinical trials (since last six months) will be excluded.Patients of drug induced Obesity for example Hormonal replacement therapy, consumption of anabolic steroids etc. and any drugs that may influence on the outcome of the study will be excluded.Pregnant females & lactating mothers will be excluded. Patients with evidence of malignancy. Spindle shaped obesity, Harmonal obesity and PCOD will be excluded. Patients who are not ready to comply the trial protocol.
