Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant women aged 18 to 40 years 2. ASA physical status I, II and III 3. Elective cesarean section patients under spinal anaesthesia 4. Singleton pregnancy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Unwillingness to continue participation 2. Not performing relaxation exercises once a week 3. Obstetric complications or stressful events during the study period 4. Patients with chronic pain syndromes or long term analgesic use. 5. Inability to communicate or complete questionnaires postoperatively 6. Patients with preoperative sedatives or antidepressants 7. Patients using medications for sleep

1. Effect of preoperative sleep quality on postoperative quality of recovery. 2. Comparison of good quality with poor quality sleep modified with PMR. 3. Effect of PMR on improving quality of sleep. 4. Effect of preoperative sleep on postoperative pain scores.Timepoint: 1.Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index assessed During the thirty second week of pregnency. 2.Quality of Recovery 15 questionnaire: 24 hours after surgery. 3.Visual Analogue Scale pain scale: At 6th, 12th and 24th hours after surgery.
