Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age group 25-55 years Nearly bilateral symmetrical site Defect with 1 tooth gap Patient with permanent minimum 20 teeth with moderate to severe periodontitis Probing pocket depth greater than 5 mm with infrabony defect Systemically healthy patient

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Medically compromised patients. Pregnant or lactating women. Smokers and Tobacco users. Patients who had undergone surgical periodontal therapy at that site within 6 months. Patients on medications that affect bone healing.

The adjunctive use of Alendronate and i-PRF with bone graft is expected to enhance the periodontal regeneration in the treatment of Infrabony defect.Timepoint: baseline, 15days,3 months and 6 months
