Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy children between 4-12 years of age attending dental clinic Parents/ caretakers giving their informed consent Children who can understand visual cues First dental visit (non-emergency)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children with cognitive, developmental or behavioral disorders that may impede communication Children undergoing treatment for anxiety / other psychiatric disorders History of severe dental trauma or hospitalization in the past 6 months Parent/ caretaker refusing consent for the study

Participation may help children feel heard and understood regarding their fears and anxieties about dental visits. Early identification of dental fear and anxiety (DFA) can assist in adopting better strategies for behavior management during dental care.
