Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Stroke survivor: 1. Belonging to the age group of 40-80 years and diagnosed with ischemic stroke or haemorrhagic stroke and admitted in tertiary hospital and can read and write Kannada and/ or English 2. Patients with NIHSS score of 5-20 with no or mild-to-moderate aphasia Family caregiver: 1. Aged 18 to 60 years residing with post-stroke patients and involved in the caregiving process and are not paid.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Stroke survivor: 1. Diagnosed with psychiatric health issues, seizures, migraine, and intracranial tumour and metabolic encephalopathy 2. Stroke secondary to surgery, trauma and malignancy. 3. Patients with severe and global aphasia Family caregiver 1. Aged less than 18 years and are not residing with post stroke patients 2. Those who are not willing to participate in the study. 3. Caregivers who are health professionals. 4. Caregivers diagnosed with terminal illnesses, have a history of substance abuse, dementia and Parkinson s disease
