Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Postoperative outcomes were evaluated based on four main variables: pain, facial swelling, trismus, and plaque accumulation on sutures. Pain intensity was recorded using the Visual Analog Scale (VAS). Facial swelling was assessed by measuring specific linear facial distances using a flexible ruler. Trismus was evaluated by recording the maximum inter-incisal mouth opening preoperatively. Plaque accumulation on sutures was assessed visually on using a three-point scoring system.Timepoint: Pain-postoperative days 2,3,4,5,6,and 7 Swelling-postoperative days 2 and 7 Trismus-preoperatively, and on postoperative days 2 and 7 Plaque accumulation-postoperative days 2 and 7 | — |
