Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Clinical diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome includes those with established clinical features and patient willing to give written informed consent and able to comply with assessments any medication status for any disease for at least 4 weeks controlled hypothyroidism diabetes under stable treatment

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Previous wrist/hand surgery on the affected side acute wrist trauma or fracture within last 6 months on affected side known peripheral polyneuropathy and other proximal nerve compression clinically suspected Rheumatid arthritis or active inflammatory arthropathy involving wrist and uncontrolled systemic diseases pregnancy severe psychiatric illness or cognitive impairment preventing informed consent or reliable history /examination
