Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient irrespective of sex, occupation, religion will be included. Diagnosed cases of Vataja Grahanidosha(IBS) with below mentioned symptoms from any department of Government Akhandanand Ayurveda Hospital, Ahmedabad will be included in this study. 1.Muhurbadham Muhurdravam Malapravruti 2.Aruchi 3.Durgandhit Malapravriti 4.Apakwa Mala Pravriti 5.Aasyavairasya 6.Tasyaannam pachayate dukham 7.Kharangata 8.Jirne jiryati cha aadhmanam, bhukte swaasthyamupaiti cha 9.Punah Punah Shrujed Varch 10.Shushka purish /Purishabaddhata(constipation) 11.Chirad dukkha Shrujed Varch/ Purisha utsarga

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patient suffering from any other systemic disease will be excluded. 2.Severely malnourished and debilitated patients. Vataja Grahanidosha (IBS) with severe symptoms will be excluded. 3.Pregnant or lactating females will be excluded. 4.Chronicity of more than 5 yrs. 5.Alcoholic and drug abuser. 6.Acute and serious conditions which require emergency intervention will be excluded.
