Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Patients age ranging from20-50years 2 Patients with Mild and moderate gingivitis were included. 3 Patients attending Sibar institute of dental sciences were included. 4 Patients with dentition greater than or equal to 20 teeth were included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Systematically compromised patients . 2 Patients who underwent any periodontal therapies before 6 months. 3 Smokers (both former and present smokers ) were excluded.
