Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients clinically diagnosed with periarthritis of the shoulder (adhesive capsulitis) Positive interscapular scratch test Appreciable restriction of both active and passive shoulder range of motion, especially flexion, abduction, and external rotation Presence of shoulder pain with stiffness, including night pain and difficulty lying on the affected side Willingness to participate and provide written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of shoulder surgery or significant shoulder trauma Presence of fracture, inflammatory arthritis, malignancy, or shoulder dislocation Cervical radiculopathy, neurological deficits, or subacromial impingement syndrome Painful arc between 60 and 120 of shoulder abduction, suggestive of rotator cuff pathology Use of NSAIDs, analgesics, or other pain-relieving medications during the study period Participation in another clinical trial Presence of open wounds, skin infections, or known allergy over the shoulder region
