Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Age group 1 to 6 years. 2)Malnutrition scale from mild to moderate. 3)Both sex.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Age below 1 year and above 6 years. 2)Child having severe malnutrition. 3)Child suffering from cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal and central nervous system diseases.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Outcome assessed with anthropometric measurements using growth charts, mid upper arm circumference and bmi. Improvement: If the Z score is less than -2 of growth chart, mid arm circumference is more than 135 mm and BMI is more than 18.5. Status quo: if the Z score is between -3 to -2, mid upper arm circumference is between 115 to 135 mm and BMI is between 14 to 18.5 Worse: If Z score is above -3 of growth chart, mid upper arm circumference is less than 115 mm and BMI is less than 14.Timepoint: On alternative follow up which is to be taken after every 25 days or as per need for period of 18 months.

Clinical improvement in signs and symptoms of malnutrition such as appetite, activity levels and general well being.Timepoint: 18 months
