Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA (American Society of Anesthesiologists) physical status I- II,111, and undergoing third space endoscopies.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with severe respiratory disease, cardiac disease, or neurological disorders, those with a history of dexmedetomidine allergy or intolerance, not willing for study, pregnancy, ASA 4 and above ,refusal of consent

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Hemodynamic stability with nebulized dexmedetomidine as premedication during third space endoscopy procedures, as measured by heart rate, blood pressure .Timepoint: 30 minutes prior to intubation till 20 minutes after extubation.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To know the hemodynamic response of nebulized dexmedetomidine as premedication for the attenuation of the laryngoscopy and intubation response To assess the incidence of adverse events associated with nebulized dexmedetomidine such as hypotension, bradycardia Timepoint: 30 minutes prior to intubation till 20 minutes after extubation.
