Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patient age group 65 years to 90 years of either gender. Patient undergoing elective major abdominal surgeries under general anaesthesia. ASA physical status one and two.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients refusal Known alzheimers disease or dementia Neurobehavioral disorders Past history of stroke Known psychiatric illness BMI more than 30 History of chronic renal or hepatic disease Drug or alcohol abuse and Patients on opioid medication for pain management.
