Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age 50 and above 2.Both males and female willing to participate. 3.Patients with knee osteoarthritis fulfilling the american college of rheimatology clinical classification criteria in study group and individuals without knee osteoathritis or other arthritic disease in control group. 4.Unilateral or Bilateral knee osteoarthritis in study group.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) History of any lower limb joint surgery 2) Congenital or acquired deformities of spine or lower limb. 3) History of lower limb fractures 4) Knee ligament injuries and meniscal tears. 5) Neurological condition such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson s disease diabetic neuropathy, dorsal column tract lesion. 6) Cognitive impairment. 7) Uncorrected visual and auditory impairments. 8) Seronegative autoimmune disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis, SLE 9) History of recent fall in past 12 months.

1.Knee joint position sense will be assessed using level function of the iPhone Measure application. 2.Balance a)Static balance will be assessed using static balance test. b)Dynamic balance will be assessed by using Timed up and go test (TUG) 3.The subjective assessment of person s apprehension and fear of fall will be assessed using Fall Efficacy Scale International (FES-I) Timepoint: ONCE
