Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children having Small Intestinal Bcaterial Overgrowth confirmed by abnormal lactulose breath test.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Medical conditions: History of any chronic disease. Use of antibiotics or probiotics within 2 months prior to enrollment. History of allergy to Rifaximin or Rifampin.

We will be able to find out the effect of Rifaximin therapy on children with small intestinal bacterial overgrowth. We will be able to find out the overall improvement in symptoms after treatment according to NRS questionnaireTimepoint: 24 days
