Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1.Frequency of Ghrelin gene (rs4684677) polymorphism among T2DM patients and Healthy volunteers. 2.Mean serum Ghrelin levels in pg/mL and Cognitive status scores in both groups.Timepoint: 2 Months Sample collection 1 month sample processing 2 weeks Data collection and analysis

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1.Association between gene polymorphism and cognitive status. 2.Association between ghrelin level and cognitive status. 3.Mean HOMA-IR values in T2DM patients and healthy volunteersTimepoint: 2 Months Sample collection 1 month sample processing 2 weeks Data collection and analysis
