Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: INCLUSION CRITERIA FOR STUDY GROUP 1)Patients with mechanical neck pain extending from C3 vertebral level to C7 vertebral level 2)Neck pain present more than 3 months 3)Pain intensity- 3 to 7 as per visual analogue scale 4)Individuals with forward head posture assessed by craniovertebral angle(less than 50 degrees) 5)Age- 18 to 45 years 6)Both males and females INCLUSION CRITERIA FOR CONTROL GROUP 1)Subjects with no neck pain 2)No previous history of neck pain 3)Individuals with forward head posture assessed by craniovertebral angle( less than 50 degrees) 4)Age- 18 to 45 years 5)Both males and females

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: EXCLUSION CRITERIA 1)Patients with Non-mechanical causes of neck pain like- Prolapsed intervertebral disc, Positive Radicular Symptoms, infection, tumor, etc. 2)Congenital or acquired musculoskeletal disorders like Scoliosis, Klippel Feil syndrome, etc. 3)Traumatic conditions affecting Cervical Spine- Fractures, Whiplash related disorders, etc. 4)History of surgery of spine 5)Vestibular impairments such as Vertigo, Tinnitus, etc. 6)Migraine and Headache 7)Auditory impairments without correction 8)Any neurological impairments- Stroke, Cervical myelopathy, Spinal cord injury, Posterior column lesions, Multiple sclerosis, Basal ganglia related disorders 9)Comorbid conditions such as Diabetes Mellitus 10)Seronegative Autoimmune disorders such as Rheumatoid arthritis, Ankylosing spondylitis, Systemic lupus erythematosus, Psoriatic arthritis

CERVICAL JOINT POSITION SENSE: It is assessed using Head Repositioning Accuracy test HEAD POSTURE: Head Posture is assessed for severity of Forward Head Posture using Photogrammetry method. Craniovertebral Angle is calculated using Photogrammetry method. NECK PAIN INTENSITY: Neck pain intensity is measured using Visual Analogue Scale (VAS)Timepoint: ONCE
