Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Subjects with an age of 16 years and above with moderate maxillary crowding. 2.Tooth material arch length discrepancy not exceeding more than 6 mm having class I, class II, and class III. 3.Cases which are amenable to non-extraction. 4.Full complement of teeth without congenital absence of teeth, other than third molars. All mechanics were consistent with a non-extraction treatment plan. No other appliances, such as headgear, Herbst, lip bumper, or distalising appliances were used. 5.No primary orthodontic treatment
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Presence of active or periodontal disease. 2. The patient has not undergone any previous fixed, removable, or expansion treatment. 3. The presence of abnormal crown morphology, occlusal wear, and caries or large restorations prone to alteration of dimensions during the course of treatment. 4. Cleft lip and palate and other craniofacial anomalies. 5. Previous orthodontic treatment. 6. Complex medical history and taking medications. 7. Disorders that increase jaw sizes like acromegaly, and cherubism
