Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)18 to 25 year old district level female football players with at least 5 years of football experience. 2)Training frequency of 1-3 games per week and regular soccer training as part of the weekly routine with three training sessions and a match per week. 3)No recent injuries or conditions in the previous 6 months that could affect the study results.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)For outcome measure testing, females with ongoing menstruation cycle will be excluded for minimum of 3 days 2)Chronic conditions like asthma or cardiovascular disorders that could interfere with the training or testing. 3)Use of performance-enhancing drugs or supplements that could affect physical performance outcomes. 4)Prior experience with either the Italian Football Protocol or a similar structured training protocol. 5)Regular participation in other sports that could influence sprint, agility, or change-of-direction performance during the study period. 6)Pregnancy 7)Tumour or malignancies
