Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Individuals with type II Diabetes Mellitus and those who are on oral anti-diabetic therapy. 2. Diagnosed with Type-2 Diabetes Mellitus for more than 5 years. 3. Individuals whose HbAlc between 6% and 10% 4.Positive microalbuminuria (confirmed by a positive UACR readings) 5. Willingness to participate in the research

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.History of Kidney or liver failure 2.Type 1 diabetes 3.CKD stage 3 or above 4.Use of herbal supplements including nigella sativa in the past 3 months 5.Patient under medication o f S G LT 2 inhibitors 6.Pregnant or lactating women 7.Individuals under insulin therapy.
