Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1 Patients willing to participate in the study 2 Patients of either sex aged between 18 60 years presenting with clinical sign and symptoms of Vataja Pratishyaya (Allergic Rhinitis) described as per Ayurveda and Modern science will be included in the study. 3 The diagnosis of the diseases shall be done with sign and symptoms of Vataja Pratishyaya (Allergic Rhinitis) Vataja Pratishyaya lakshana - Shirohshoola /Shirogaurava (Headache) - Tanusravapravartan (Rhinorrhea) - Kshavathu (Sneezing) - Aanaddha Nasa (Nasal obstruction) - Swaropaghata (Hoarseness of voice) - Kasa (Cough) - Kandu (Itching) 4 Nasal Congestion grade between 1 to 3(mild to moderate nasal congestion) will be included 5 Turbinate hypertrophy - grade between 1 to 3(mild to moderate Turbinate hypertrophy) will be included 6 Total nasal symptoms score- grade between 1 to 9 will be included
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1 Patients having history of uncontrolled systemic disease such as Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension etc. 2 Patients suffering from gross deviation of Nasal Septum, Nasal Tumors, Adenoid Hyperplasia. 3 Patients not fit for Marsh Nasya 4 Other nasal conditions which may mimic or compound the presentation of Allergic Rhinitis like Nasal Polyps, Tumors etc. 5 Severe nasal obstruction 6 Patients on steroids or anti allergic medications.
