Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Biopsy-proven cancer patients where groin dissection is indicated as per standard international guidelines (N0 or N1 disease) Willing to consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Matted and fixed nodal groin nodal mass Direct skin involvement by nodal mass in the groin region Nodal infiltration of the femoral artery or vein Poor general condition with ECOG score of 2 or more precluding surgery or radiation with a known history of liver, cardiac, and renal diseases

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate perioperative outcomes between both surgical approaches and factors affecting it.Timepoint: 30 and 90 days

MeasureTime frame
To study the pathological outcomes among the groups Timepoint: 2 years;To calculate two year groin recurrence, disease free survival, overall survival rates between the two surgical approaches Timepoint: 2 years;To analyze the factors influencing the survival outcomesTimepoint: 2 years
