Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Simple bone fracture requiring surgical fixation Non Diabetic Willingness to participate with informed consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Known diabetic or prior metformin use Open or pathological fracture Chronic kidney disease or liver disease Concurrent use of bisphosphonates or corticosteroids Pregnant or lactating women
