Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Confirmed Rheumatoid Arthritis Diagnosis of RA as per ACR EULAR 2010 criteria with disease duration 6 months Depression Onset Post RA Clinical history must confirm that depressive symptoms appeared after the diagnosis of RA secondary to RA related pain disability or chronic disease stress Depression Severity Mild to moderate depression confirmed by a validated tool example DASS21 Scale Stable RA Medication Regimen If on DMARDs or NSAIDs dosage must be stable for at least 4 weeks prior to enrolment Willingness for Homeopathy Participant must be willing to take individualized homeopathic medicines as the primary intervention Consent Must provide written informed consent and agree to follow-up visits

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pre-existing Depression: Patients with a history of depression or psychiatric illness before RA diagnosis. 2. Major Psychiatric Disorders: Those with bipolar disorder, psychosis, schizophrenia, or severe depression requiring antidepressant therapy. 3. Other Causes of Depression: Depression due to substance abuse, hormonal disorders (e.g., thyroid disease), or major life events unrelated to RA. 4. Concurrent Autoimmune Disorders: Presence of other autoimmune conditions (e.g., lupus, psoriatic arthritis) that could independently cause depression. 5. Severe Joint Deformity/Disability: Patients who are wheelchair-bound or have joint replacement surgeries that could independently affect mood. 6. Pregnancy or Lactation: Excluded due to hormonal mood influences. 7. Substance Abuse: Current or past alcohol/drug dependence. 8. Unstable Medical Conditions: Uncontrolled hypertension, heart disease, renal or liver failure that may confound depression assessment. 9. Participation in Another Clinical Trial within the past 3 months.
