Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA physical status I II Patient planed for general anaesthesia requiring laryngoscopy and endotracheal intubation Patient with Mallampati Grade 1 and 2 Patient intubated at first attempt

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients refusing to give consent Patients having pre-existing cardiac condition hypertension hypotension or hemodynamic instability Patient on antipsychotic medication Patient who has restricted mouth opening History of allergy to Dexmedetomidine or Magnesium sulphate Pregnant woman Patient on opioids betablockers calcium channel blocker
