Intervention1: Medicated natul therapy: In natul therapy the roghne banafsha is poured over the head scalp of patient from the height of 0.5-1 feet for about 30 minutes.

Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Clinically diagnosed patients with MDD as per DSM5. Subjects who score more than 7 but not more than 23 on the Hamilton depression rating scale-17 indicating mild to moderate depression. Patient is willing to participate in the study and has signed informed consent. Patient is currently not receiving antidepressants or has discontinued for more than or equal to 2 weeks before enrolment.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients below the age of 18 years and above the age of 60 years. Patients with severe depression. Pregnant women and lactating mothers. Patients with terminal illness , chronic illness and other psychiatric illness.
