Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged between 20 and 60 years of either sex, who fulfill the laboratory diagnosis of hypothyroidism based on serum TSH, T3, and T4 levels, with TSH levels ranging from above the 5ulU/ml, total serum T4 levels below the normal range (5.6 to 13 g/dL), and T3 levels between(0.70 to 2.04 ng/mL), will be included in the study, with no restrictions based on gender, religion, socioeconomic status, occupation, or living environment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals with additional co-morbid conditions (such as cardiac disease, respiratory disorders, renal issues, liver conditions, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, Thyrotoxicosis, goiter pregnancy, active malignant and other systemic illnesses), those under the age of 20 and over the age of 60 year. Individuals who have had any form of thyroid surgery, recent abdominal or spinal surgery.

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the improvement in clinical signs and symptoms of Galganda (hypothyroidism) and associated Agnimandya, along with overall quality of life, following treatment with Kanchnar Gutika.Timepoint: 45 days
