Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Previously diagnosed type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patient who are already on Metformin and being prescribed either Linagliptin or Dapagliflozin as 2nd line therapy. 2.Both Male and Female(18-65 Years) 3.Patients with Normal Vitamin B12 level(211-911 pg/ml)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients unwilling/unable to give consent 2.Pregnant and lactating women 3.Patient on drugs which may cause hyperglycaemia like (Steroids, Beta2 agonist, Thiazides, Antipsychotics). 4.Patient on drugs causing hypoglycaemia(Beta blocker, Fluoroquinolones, Pentamidine). 5.Patients On Vitamin B12 supplementation 6. Drugs that can cause altered Vitamin B12 levels(Patient on Proton Pump Inhibitor,H2 receptor blocker for more than 3 months) 7.Patients with deranged liver Function.( Three times of upper limit of normal range)
