Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To assess and compare sensitivity and specificity of LVOT- VTI and IVC-CI for predicting PIHTimepoint: 3 readings will be taken for each parameter | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To determine- 1.The sensitivity & specificity of LVOT maximum velocity for predicting PIH. 2.The sensitivity & specificity of mitral E & A waves & E/A ratio to predict PIH. 3. The incidence of PIH.Timepoint: Baseline readings for heart rate, blood pressure & mean arterial pressure will be taken before induction. Post induction readings will be taken at 1 minute 2 minute 3 minute & 4 minute. Post intubation readings will be noted at 1 minute 2 minute 3 minute 5 minute 7 minute 9 minute 11 minute 13 minute & 16 minute. | — |
